- if you want to make music for a living, treat it like a full time job from the start
- make music because you love it, not for money or attention,, don’t get discouraged if people aren’t responding, use it as motivation to work harder.
- don’t try to capitalize on trends, anyone can do that. it makes u disposable
- release music you are truly proud of, don’t settle for “good enough”
- find artists you believe in but haven’t blown up yet and connect with them
- don’t act cocky/entitled, no one likes that
- just because nobody else is doing something doesnt mean you shouldnt. in fact, it means u probably should
