our release schedule slowed a lot last year… we just needed time to grow as people and get our adult lives sorted out. Releasing music has also gotten a lot more complicated due to labels, mastering, managers, PR, etc. That’s why I lowkey drop beats on here. Just feels too unnatural not to share… 

Creatively, we’re still going strong as ever… Our sound has developed and expanded and gone in all sorts of directions. We’ve also been dedicated to completing our opus with Main Attrakionz, 808s + Dark Grapes 3, and ended up creating 100s of songs and scrapping four or five full length albums. After 3 years and many mental breakdowns, we’ve finally reached a point where we are all completely satisfied with the record on an artistic level. 

2 weeks ago we all signed a contract to put out the album with Neil Young’s record label Vapor Records(!?). Life is weird and pretty cool. It will still be more months before it’s out (gotta finish art/packaging, mastering, rehearsing a live set, booking a tour, etc).

I get anxious sometimes about it taking so long, but this record is very unlike what other people are doing, or even like anything we’ve done in the past, so really I’m not too worried about being “late”. More concerned with giving this record the proper release it deserves. After that, I think we’re gonna be focused on releasing a lot more instrumental music… Beautiful things in the works
